A Research-Based Approach to PTSD

We at 22Zero are passionate and committed to bringing relief to those suffering from PTSD. We already know that our approach works, we are seeing it in action DAILY!  We are now working continuously to add to an ever-growing body of evidence and research to validate what our HEROES have experienced.

Below you will find the initial report prepared by Dr. Martha Corvea, our Research Director, and our findings. Data collection links for our  Resiliency Counselors/Coaches, click the appropriate link to fill out data for PSSI5 and EMP to be submitted for research and publication.

Important Notes

With the one-hundred (100) case studies, the average PTSD Symptom Scale Interview-5 test score was 54.33, the floor threshold for PTSD is twenty (20), the ceiling is eighty (80). After completing the requested sessions, the average score dropped to 2.12, a clinically significant number.

Most of the group exhibited no symptoms associated with PTSD after the sessions.

Eleven (11) of the case studies only requested one (1) session, forty (40) requested two (2) sessions, forty-eight (48) requested three (3) sessions, and only a single case subject request a fourth (4) session. An accumulative average number of sessions requested for TRP was 2.39 sessions to achieve the clinical threshold of no symptoms associated with PTSD.
