Dr. Arnell On The Indispensable Man Podcast

October 7, 2024

Dr. Arnell was asked to speak on The Indispensable Man podcast, hosted by Kristofor Healey, a former DHS Special Agent. She spoke with Kristofor about the history and mission of 22ZERO and how the healing from trauma is available for veterans, first responders, their spouse and minor children living in the home, and Gold Star Families.

There is no cost for mission clients, it is 100% confidential, we do not report to the VA or their employers, and they remain home, as we use a tele-health platform, serving across the U.S. 22ZERO has the peer-to-peer program where mission clients will be connected with other veterans or first responders to go through the Trauma Resiliency Protocol and Emotions Management Process.

She shared her story of being connected to 22ZERO through her Fire Chief and how I was “amazed at how simple it was to heal the trauma”, and how she experienced two calls while being a reserve deputy and three calls with the fire department that were problematic for her.

Other areas discussed were the negative emotions such as fear, horror, guilt, and shame and the difference Dr. Arnell felt after going through the process but is also something mission clients share after they have been through the Emotions Management Process and how “amazed” they feel as well.

Dr. Arnell explains how she has been collaborating with the Arizona State University Research Team on the first responder data, which ASU is studying, using data from 22ZERO. Dr. Arnell explained how important it was to have the peer review research on the two protocols to further expand the validity of the processes used by 22ZERO.
