Pastor Greg Smith is a native of Kings Mountain, North Carolina USA. While serving in the US Air Force stationed in England in 1983, he and his wife Dana felt the call to ministry after attending a Ministry to the Military Fall Retreat.
After leaving the military, both attended and graduated from East Coast Bible College in Charlotte, North Carolina. Greg graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and a minor in business, and Dana a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
For the next 15 years, Greg served in several part-time ministry positions including, youth pastor, young adult pastor, and elder. Greg is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God of Cleveland, Tennessee and holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from the European Theological Seminary in Germany, and Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee.
He is an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) in Alabama, and a Board Certified Christian Counselor (BCCC), and Board Certified Pastoral Counselor (BCPC) with the International Board of Christian Care (IBCC). He is a member the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), the American Counseling Association (ACA), and the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISST-D).
