I’m a Lieutenant/Paramedic in a west-central Florida fire department. I serve in many roles there, but my most cherished role is the coordinator for our peer support program for the department and our Local IAFF.
The fire service has been the greatest profession and a blessing for my family and me for over 26 years. But it’s only great because of the incredible men and women I have the privilege of serving with. We have a responsibility to each other to make sure that at the end of our careers, we are as whole as possible. And, If I can help our crews make it to the end of their career with fewer rocks in their backpack, that’s my goal.
