Benjamin Jerome Arnell was born on April 26, 1953. Benjamin Jerome was educated in the Maury County School System and graduated from TN State University in 1975. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1984 and served 7 years of active duty, then 19 years in the TN National Guard. He retired from 20 years of employment with the TN state government. Benjamin accepted Christ at a very early age while he attended First Baptist Church in Columbia, TN.

Jerome is a faithful member of Trinity Family Church in Columbia, TN. Benjamin was active in the community as he served as a member of the Veterans of Foreign War 4577, American Legion Post 60, Giles County Honor Guard, NAACP, and Pulaski Lions Club.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his mother, Amanda Arnell, and mother in law Patsy Bebout; his wife of 24 years Pamela Arnell; Daughter Alyssa Arnell, Lisa Arnell, daughter in law Angel Compton, Son Mark – Steven Arnell and Allen Compton; Sister Linda Arnell and brother in law Arthur Bulls; niece Megan Dubose; Grandchildren Emilee, Sawyer, Ashtyn, Bentley. Jerome has nephews &  special cousins, and a host of close friends.
