She has a unique ability to create the spaces where purpose meets power, transforming vision into results. As the Founder of a two-time award-winning innovative school, Margo demonstrated her exceptional ability to build and lead teams that deliver excellence. Under her leadership, the school earned recognition, including placing in “Best Private Elementary School on the South Shore” (BOSS Awards) and “Top 5 Private Middle Schools in Boston, in Massachusetts, and in New England” (Parent’s Choice). Margo’s impact extended beyond school walls—she brought global expertise into the classroom, facilitating professional development with renowned figures like TED Talk speaker, author, producer of “Most Likely To Succeed” Ted Dintersmith, and providing students with opportunities to engage with the United Nations and leaders like Henk Ovink, the Special Envoy for International Water Affairs by zooming in directly with him at the COP27 in Egypt for a lesson, Q&A with students, and virtual tour introducing students to global leadership convening at the COP27.
Today, Margo serves students globally as a United States Delegate, World Schools, where she collaborates with international leaders to improve education models and prepare students for the rapidly evolving global workforce.
Margo’s leadership extends into the military sector, where her work addresses the pandemic of youth suicide (military kids at higher risks than their civilian peers) and equipping children with tools for resiliency and support. After Director of Defense Health Agency Lt. General Ron Place identified a spike in demand for military kids’ mental health services but gap in access, she developed and led the first-ever retreat program for military kids of its kind, which sold out and achieved outstanding outcomes. Leading a team that includes a General, Veterans, Military Spouse, and an Adult Military Kid, LaPointe is now posturing expansion to military bases across the U.S. and globally, with force multipliers extending the invitation to children of First Responders and Gold Star families.
With extensive experience across government, business, military, education, and non-profit sectors, Margo excels at creating collaborative relationships that make a lasting impact. She has worked alongside leaders in a variety of fields, including celebrities, media, MLB, and, most importantly, children, families, and Gold Star families.
Shattering glass ceilings, Margo is a first-generation college graduate. Margo holds degrees in Business and in Political Science and certifications in Non-Profit Management (Sawyer Business School) / Class Graduate Speaker (Massachusetts Council of Human Service Providers), Family Engagement (Harvard Graduate School of Education), earned her “Ducktorate” in the Disney College Program, and completed a program studying at Oxford University.
As the Director of Development at 22Zero, Margo leads the organization’s strategic efforts to expand its global reach, strengthen partnerships, and secure resources for initiatives that improve the well-being of veterans and their families. Above all else, Margo LaPointe is a Christian. Esther 4:14.
